Basic Backgrounds 07/16/13

I hope you kept out those Alcohol Inks because we are going to use them again this week. For this technique you need a piece of Acetate, an applicator tool with felt pad, Alcohol Inks and Blending Solution.

Like last week we are adding a few drops of each color and Blending Solution to your felt pad. Pounce all over the back of your Acetate.

Turn it over. I have it laying on white card stock so it shows up.

Now stamp on it. I'm thinking about using this behind a Spellbinders Rectangular die which has a square cut out of the center for a card front.
Next you can smoosh with Alcohol inks. On your craft sheet add drops of color and Blending Solution.
Now lay your Glossy card stock on top and twist it around till you have pick up all the color.

Every background will be different.
Hey have you got Copic Markers. Scribble with them on your craft sheet.
Spray until fairly wet with Alcohol.
Lay your card stock face down into the scribbles and twist it around until totally covered. You get a softer look and it will take a short while to dry.
Here is another one I did with 4 blues and a brown.
Remember you can stamp on these backgrounds if you wish. Next week we're making Stripes. Enjoy your week.
